Having a bunch of problems getting the photo gallery working, the biggest of which is none of the photos I upload are showing up in the albums. I’ll hopefully have this resolved in a couple of days or so, but it’s going to depend on how much time I can put into it. No days off until the 9th, so it might be tough.

I’m also waiting on some things to be delivered so I can actually put in some new pictures, and not just keep using the same photos on every page of the site.

We’re back into the swing of things. After taking a couple of months to relax and regroup (aka, procrastinate and do nothing productive… especially Dana… that’s right… I said it!), we’re full steam ahead in getting things together for the wedding.

The Save-The-Dates are in the mail. We’re closing in on arranging hotel accomodations for our out-of-town guests (aka, those who plan in advance on partying WAY more than usual).

Unfortunately, our surge of motivation has come just in time for me to be pulling another 12-day shift at work, followed almost immediately by the holidays, but we’ll do our best not to get stuck in another rut.

More to come…

7 months to go and here’s where we stand:

We have booked the venue, DJ, photographer, videographer, and officiant. We have registered, although, it continues to be updated. Rings have been purchased.

My gown has been ordered. Bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses have been picked and need to be ordered. MOB and MOG are on the hunt to find dresses. Sometime in the next few months we’ll look for tuxes.

The Save the Date magnets were ordered and arrived. We are currently adding all guests to the wedding database so we can send out the magnets. We are going to look for invitations within the next month or two.

Appointments need to be made to choose a florist. Appointments also need to be made with Videographer and Photographer for Engagement shoot. Trying to find a salon for my hair and looking for a make-up artist.

Currently on the hunt for centerpiece and favor ideas; although I have some things in mind, but just need to *find* them.

Honeymoon still needs to be determined, although we know where we want to go it’s a matter of finding out the cost to see if it is really feasible.

I still can’t believe I’m getting married. I’m going through the motions and I know it’s my wedding I’m planning for, but it hasn’t “hit” yet. I’m certainly getting excited. There are songs that I will hear on the radio that will make me think of what the reception might be like. Or I may pass a banquet hall and get butterflies of excitement. We’ve been engaged for over a year, and now I feel like we’re in the home stretch. It’ll be here before we know it and I can’t wait!!

Well, I’ve spent the better part of the evening trying to get the blog working for the new site. My hope is that we’ll use this to update our friends and family regarding the events leading up to our wedding in May 2007, but that we’ll continue to use this as our main website for our new family.

Site “to do” list:

  • Setup photo gallery
  • Fix some of the design “issues”
  • More to come…
